We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensuring they have access to high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the provision for students with SEN.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with diverse needs.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEN.
- Provide training and support to staff on SEN best practices.
- Ensure compliance with SEN legislation and school policies.
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognized SENCO qualification.
- Proven experience in a SENCO role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of SEN legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
