Location: Penzance, Cornwall
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £120 – £140 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a specialist SEN school in Penzance. They are now seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team this September.


✨ The Role:

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

  • Adapt resources to meet individual EHCP targets

  • Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and teaching assistants to provide holistic support

  • Create a structured, inclusive, and safe learning environment

  • Use behaviour management strategies that prioritise wellbeing and progress


‍ The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent

  • Experience supporting children with Autism (ASC), ideally in a specialist or SEN setting

  • Knowledge of strategies such as TEACCH, PECS, or Makaton

  • Confident in classroom management and working within a multi-disciplinary team

  • Empathetic, resilient, and committed to making a difference every day
