Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a candidate to cover maternity, teaching Spanish at a reputable Secondary school in Newcastle. Rated 'Good' by Ofsted, the school would like to employ an enthusiastic, creative individual who will lead pupils to success in their Modern Foreign Languages examinations. As the students have already started working towards their examinations, the main priority of the school is to make the transition between teachers as seamless as possible.

OVERVIEW

• Role commencing after April
• Confidently delivering Spanish curriculum to Key Stages 3&4 in preparation for assessments
• Opportunity to work on a full-time basis
• Producing assignments to maintain students' progress and highlight weak areas
• Evaluating class work against criteria set by exam board, creating a plan-of-action to ensure the continued progression of all students
• Possibility of being offered a fixed-term contract (at the discretion of the school)
• Ability to demonstrate a variation of teaching skills, showing conscientiousness towards the individual learning needs of students
• Pay scale ranging from £110-160 a day
