Spanish Teacher Required ASAP

A large Secondary School in the North Leeds area of West Yorkshire are currently seeking to appoint a qualified teacher of Spanish for a long term role until at least Christmas 2016.

The role will involve teaching Spanish at KS3 and KS4 so recent experience of teaching at these levels is essential and a flare for Spanish and creating exciting and engaging lessons is required to ensure pupil progress.

The timetable of Spanish lessons is not full and you may be given some other lessons to fill it up so some degree of flexibility is desired.

The school is in North Leeds and around a ten minute drive from the city centre. There are regular buses from the city centre so those traveling by public transport should find the commute reasonable.

The school has a diverse cohort and results are generally average. Students behaviour can sometimes be challenging but the school have a clear and supportive behaviour policy, allowing you to ensure teaching can take place and students have clear boundaries.

Daily pay rates are up to £180 (depending on skills and experience) and you will be paid on a weekly basis.

All candidates are subject to full vetting and reference checks.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
