Social, Emotional and Mental Health Teaching Assistant wanted in Penzance!

- Are you qualified or have experience working in a Primary School Environment?
- Are you located close to Penzance?
We have a new opportunity for a SEMH TA to work alongside a professional Senco and group of Teachers in providing the best starting education for children. We are able to provide a schedule that fits to your availability, and a competitive pay rate, earning between £57-65 per day. As well as this, you also have the chance to gain invaluable experience within the institution.
To qualify for this you will need to have:
- A full Driving License
- A passion for education and assisting children on their journey
- A DBS Child workforce only registered with the update service (or be willing to gain one)
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with children, either in small groups or 1:1.
- Work to your own initiative with confidence both inside and outside of the classroom.
- Previous School/Health care experience/Youth work/Sports coaching is desired.
Team Teach training is preferred but the can be offered with Teaching Personnel throughout the Summer Holidays alongside other CPD programmes.
All candidates must be able to provide two references from you most current schools or placements with children and must provide a DBS check registered to the update service or be completed via application at a cost of £44.00. Safeguarding is a priority at Teaching Personnel and therefore all candidates are vetted to the highest standard.
