Teaching Assistant Required To Work With Down's Syndrome Child in Hammersmith

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of a very well known “Good” Ofsted rated school in the borough on Hammersmith & Fulham.

The role will involve supporting 1:1 with a child who has Down’s Syndrome in year 3

This child is largely non-verbal and you will be required to assist her with daily needs. Ideally, the candidate will have knowledge and experience of supporting a child with such needs, and also have a good knowledge and understanding of its implications for learning and development.

This is a thriving school and the staff are very proud of their improving school and the achievements it is making to inspire their children for a better future. The successful candidate will expect earn £70 - £80 a day.

Please only apply if you meet the following requirements:

• Must have SEN experience (preferably with Down's Syndrome)

• Must have experience in a UK School

• Will be able to commit to at least the end of the academic year with the potential of a perm role.
