Job description

Experienced SEND/SEMH Tutor Required – 1:1 Tuition Role from September

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled SEND/SEMH tutor to provide one-to-one tuition to pupils requiring specialist support, either in the home or at specialist provision settings. This role is critical in supporting pupils diagnosed with ADHD, autism spectrum conditions, PTSD, and behavioural challenges.

Candidate Profile:

  • Substantial experience and knowledge of the UK curriculum
  • Significant experience tutoring SEND/SEMH pupils, with a deep understanding of complex needs
  • Ability to travel independently between venues (own car and full driving license essential)
  • Qualified Teacher Status is advantageous; however, candidates with a higher degree in a core academic subject and substantial relevant experience will be considered

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
