Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
Teaching Personnel is recruiting for enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistants to support students in our partner schools across Bridgwater. These schools cater to pupils with a range of needs including Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and other complex learning needs.

You’ll be joining a supportive team focused on personalised learning and holistic development. Full induction and trial days are available to help you settle in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored support to students with SEND
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individual learning plans
  • Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
  • Adapt learning materials to suit diverse needs and abilities

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEND
  • Experience in education, care, or youth work (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience
  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusive education
