SEND Teacher – Full-time & Part-time Positions Available
Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher with UK QTS Required

Are you a dedicated and experienced teacher with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs? If you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and are confident leading engaging and inclusive lessons, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic SEND Teachers for various schools across Salford, Bolton, Wigan, and Warrington. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time work, we have flexible opportunities to suit your availability.

  • Start Date: Immediate (subject to registration)

  • Location: Multiple settings across Greater Manchester

  • Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Salary: Paid to scale, reflecting your experience and qualifications

  • Payment: Weekly via PAYE (no agency or umbrella fees)

  • Contract Type: Permanent opportunities available

As a SEND Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and other complex learning needs. You will be supported by skilled teaching assistants and benefit from small class sizes that enable personalised teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, individualised lessons tailored to the needs of SEND learners

  • Adapt your teaching approach to promote inclusion, engagement, and progression

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff to support learning and development

  • Foster pupils’ communication, independence, and social skills

  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Experience teaching students with SEND (ASD, PMLD, or other additional needs)

  • Strong classroom leadership and the ability to work collaboratively with support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
