Job description

Position: AP Teaching Assistant

Pay: £13.75-£14.50

Location: Bodmin

Start Date: 3rd September 2025

End Date: 24th October 2025

Expected Interview Date: 14h July 2025

Qualifications:

  • Experience in SEMH
  • DBS on Update Service  

I’ve been in close contact with an excellent alternative provision school in Bodmin who are looking for an enthusiastic AP/SEMH TA to begin in September. The duration of the position will be until October half term; this is a great opportunity as often the market can be difficult at the beginning of the academic year for supply temp roles.

This school is part of a multi academy trust that provides a balanced and broad curriculum that promotes the development of students and prepares them for opportunities, responsibilities and experience of adult life. They are looking for a candidate who is comfortable and resilient to be able to assist and encourage with social and educational development of challenged pupils. This pastoral role is a brilliant opportunity to better the support that students need for them to thrive in the school’s environment. The school are offering flexible full-time hours for the role and a great pay rate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
