Job Title: SEN Tutor - Qualified
Location: Bedfordshire, Bedford
Salary: £25.00 - £30.00 Per hour
Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic and social development
- Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialist qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Enhanced DBS check
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with students with SEN
- Proven track record of successfully supporting students with diverse learning needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of SEN policies and practises
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in SEN or related field
- Experience in using assistive technology to support students with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
