As an SEN tutor, you’ll help students with special educational needs (SEN) build confidence, overcome barriers, and reach new academic heights. We’re currently looking for SEN Tutors in Lincoln and surrounding areas to support young people needing extra academic assistance. You’ll bring enthusiasm, empathy, and a commitment to professionalism, making a real impact on students' lives.
Pay: £25 - £30 per hour
Additional Info:
A full UK driving license is desirable, as some students may require home or library-based tutoring.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized 1:1 or small group tuition for students with SEN.

Motivate and inspire students to overcome challenges and build confidence.

Tailor lessons to each student’s individual needs and goals.

Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment and follow safeguarding policies.
Requirements:

Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.

Enhanced DBS check for Child Workforce (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.

Experience working with children and young people with SEND, SEMH, or other additional needs.

Previous teaching experience in the UK is desirable, as is classroom/1:1 experience.

Understanding of the SEN curriculum and safeguarding training is preferred.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
