Are you looking for a role where you can provide meaningful, individual support to young people who need it most? We are seeking dedicated SEN Tutors in Fernhurst to deliver personalised tuition that truly makes an impact.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Fernhurst and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time / Full-Time)

About the Opportunity
This role focuses on working closely with learners who benefit from a tailored approach to education. Sessions are designed around each individual, helping them feel supported, understood, and capable of achieving success.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Deliver customised Maths and English sessions based on individual learning needs
  • Support learners with a variety of additional needs, including autism and ADHD
  • Provide a calm and encouraging learning environment
  • Help learners develop confidence, independence, and routine
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit each learner’s pace and style

What You’ll Need

  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly with SEN/SEND
  • Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, structured sessions
  • Reliability and a commitment to consistency
  • Local availability around Fernhurst

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
