Job description

Specialist SEN Tutors Needed – Join Our Team in Chichester

TP Tutors is recruiting committed individuals in Chichester to deliver high-quality, personalised tuition for students with additional learning needs.

This position offers a great balance of flexibility and purpose, allowing you to support young people in reaching their full potential.

Location: Chichester and surrounding areas
Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible)
Position: SEN Tutor

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Maths and/or English tuition tailored to each student
  • Support learners with needs such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Modify lesson content and delivery to suit individual abilities
  • Establish a calm, structured, and encouraging learning space
  • Help students grow in confidence as well as academic ability

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
  • Ability to create effective and engaging lesson plans
  • Based locally in Chichester or able to commute
  • Strong communication skills with a patient and supportive manner
  • Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive teaching practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
