Teaching assistants are required at an SEN school in the Norwich area.
We are looking for Teaching Assistants with previous SEN experience, preferably with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health). The ideal person will have an enthusiastic and engaging personality who is passionate for the care and support of children with SEN.
This school provides support and education for pupils across KS2 and KS3, helping them towards their next step in education. The children at this school have varying levels of needs and can show challenging behaviour, so you must be willing to work in this environment.
Requirements:
Previous SEN experience - preferably with SEMH
Due to the location of the school, you will require your own transport
Energetic and engaging personality
What we offer:
Excellent rates of pay - £58.50 to £70 (dependent on experience)
Part-time or full-time positions
Roles available in September for the new academic year
We are aware that not all SEN experience comes from an education setting, so if you are unsure whether the experience you have is relevant for this role; please give us a call so that we can advise you on this further.
A Child workforce DBS which is on the update service will be required for this role. If you do not have one we can process one for you as we are an authorised counter signatory; we will go through the full details in your interview.
