About the School:

All students have a statement of special educational needs including MLD (Mild Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties). A high proportion of pupils also have a diagnosis of autism and a few have complex healthcare needs.

What are we looking for?

For this position, it is essential you have experience working with young people that have special educational needs, in a school setting.

What is most important to this school is that they find someone who matches their values so if you can inspire students to learn, challenge students and help them achieve along with encouraging them develop spiritually, becoming reflective, creative individuals, then we would love to hear from you.

Due to the varying needs and age of the students at this school, we are looking for applicants who have a flexible approach to work. Although rewarding, working with such vulnerable young people can be extremely challenging so we are looking for team players with a great sense of humour.

We currently have a need for flexible staff so please still enquire if you only have part time availability.
