Join Our Team as a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant!

Location: Ealing & Surrounding Areas (West London)
Salary: £190 – £250 per day (based on experience)
Start Date: November 2025
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Temp-to-Perm

We’re on the lookout for compassionate, proactive, and dedicated Secondary SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across West London schools — including Ealing, Hounslow, Hillingdon, Harrow, and Brent.


Your Role Will Include:

  • Providing 1:1 and group support to SEN students inside and outside the classroom

  • Helping deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs

  • Supporting students’ emotional well-being, social development, and independence

  • Assisting with behaviour management and creating a positive learning environment

  • Liaising with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to monitor and celebrate progress


What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with SEN students in a secondary school setting

  • Knowledge of SEN strategies (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, SLCN, etc.)

  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills

  • A team player who can also take initiative

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ) are a plus – but not essential

  • A genuine passion for inclusion, diversity, and student support

Safeguarding Commitment:

All successful applicants will be subject to vetting including:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)

  • Two professional references within the last 2 years

  • Overseas Police Check (if applicable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
