Teaching Personnel is working with a Special Needs schools in Nuneaotn, who is looking for support staff who come from a strong sporting backgound. The school caters for pupils aged 5-11, with a variety of SEN including Autism, ADHD and MLD. The class sizes are around 8-10, and there are always a minimum of 3 members of staff in the classroom.
The succseful candidate will have a strong sporting background, whether you are a Sports graduate or a Sports coach. Experience working with SEN (in particular Autism & ADHD) is desirable. Experience working in schools is not essential, as long as you have worked with children in some aspect. You will be working as a general SEN Teaching Assistant but will also take on some addiional responsibility in regards to helping deliver sport and PE. A Team-Teach qualificaiton is desirable.
