SEN Teaching Assistant
South Liverpool
Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, at our client school in South Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the academic and social needs of identified students.
The successful Teaching Assistant will join our client school in the new academic year 19/20 and will join the schools wider SEN team, supporting students with Special Educational Needs including Physical and Sensory needs. Support will be provided through in-class support as well as working in small groups and on a one-to-one basis with students who require additional support. Due to the nature of the role, prior experience working with students with Special Educational Needs within the 11-16 phase is desirable but is not essential as full support and training from colleagues and Teachers will be provided.
All successful candidates will be introduced to our client school on a temporary basis in the first instance with the opportunity to earn a permanent school contract.
Highlights of the role:

- Introduction to a supportive secondary school located in South Manchester.
- Weekly salary of up to £300
Our client school is located in South Liverpool a short drive from the city centre and also easily accessible via public transport links from the city centre. The school is a large catholic secondary school for students aged 11-16. The school has a brand new state-of-the-art building which has been designed to facilitate excellent teaching and learning.
