SEN Teaching Assistant- September Start -Oldham

A SEN Teaching Assistant is required in the Oldham area to work in an average sized Primary Academy School. The position is to start in September and will be a long term supply contract for the right teaching assistant.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within this Primary School, which is part of a large multi academy trust. It is a very supportive primary school, where pupils and staff make great progress due to the stimulating environment. The successful practitioner will have recent experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant. They will have a real desire to make a positive impact on their students.

The School has a real positive ethos and staff and students enjoy coming to this school on a daily basis. It is a very diverse and inclusive school which welcomes everyone. The children in this school are known to be friendly and welcoming, which makes this school a lovely environment to work in. The teaching throughout the school is good and students make great progress. Teachers are very ambitious and always encourage positive behavior. There is a strong emphasis on reading throughout both key stages and the children are provided with a structured reading theme. There is a high level of EAL in this school, and the children learn form a language rich curriculum in order to help them in the best possible way.

The SEN Department is inclusive and supportive for both staff and students. Students with SEN are very well supported and make great progress through-out the school due to the great support from the teachers and teaching assistants. There is a very supportive culture for the staff within this school, so this is a great opportunity for a Teaching assistant who is looking to progress their career.
