SEN teaching assistant required for Havant school

Job description

A school in Havant are seeking a Teaching Assistant to assist and support pupils on a 1:1 basis.

They have recently been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted so are looking to maintain the standards and improve further. The candidate chosen will be expected to start immediately and would start on a temporary contract with the potential for a permanent role.

The candidate selected must be enthusiastic the education sector. You will be expected to take the pupils out of school grounds and support in a variety of outdoor activities. The pupils you will be required to work with have variety of different needs including ADHD, ADD, SEMH, Autism, Aspergers and Speech and Language Difficulties.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
