Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a primary aged child with learning difficulties. The successful TA will be supporting the pupil on a one to one basis, helping them with their learning and social development. The school is an SEN school based near Paignton. They cater for children with autistic spectrum conditions, behavioural difficulties and social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
The role is full time- 8:30-3:30, Monday to Friday. It is also term time only.
The ideal candidate MUST:
- Have a NVQ Level 2 minimum in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or similar
- Be available immediately with ability to carry out a long-term role
- Be passionate about working with children and supporting learning and welfare
- Having a full, clean driving licence with access to a car daily will be advantageous
Highlights of this role:
- Full time TA position starting March 2021
- Pay between GBP300 - GBP325 per week depending on role and experience
- Temporary, long-term position
- Gain support and further experience working with the school’s SLT
In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
