SEN Teaching Assistant

We are in need of Teaching Assistants for a Special Educational needs school in the Cuckfield area. The school caters for pupils aged 3 - 16yrs with a wide range of special educational needs including physical difficulties, complex medical conditions and communication needs.

The School:

The school caters for students with a wide range of needs including PMLD and MLD. The school has a variety of facilities ranging from a sensory room, to fully equipped classrooms. The school's mission statement aims to reflect their commitment to work together with everyone involved in the life of their pupils and the school.

 The Role:

• Working hours are 08:30am – 15:30pm and you will get a lunch break

 • Work is available Monday-Friday, term time only, and you can choose how many days per week you would like to be called for work

• Experience of SEN, in whatever form whether primary or secondary or school based or non school based, is essential


The Candidate:

Ideally you will have a flexible nature and be prepared to cover across all years where needed. Your role will be supporting with behaviour management and to engage and interact with the children to enable them access the curriculum fully. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
