Teaching Personnel are currently working with a client who is looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a school based South West of Lincoln. My client is a Special Education school which provides the right platform for individuals who have a wide range of learning difficulties. They cater for students who have Autism, MLD or SLD, the range is quite broad from physical to medical but regardless of the situation every student is valued equally and is provided the education they deserve.

 My client has excellent facilities and prides themselves on providing excellent educational standards having received an Ofsted rating of “GOOD”.  The pupils age ranges from 2 to 19 and it will be your role to increase every students social, personal and academic standards.

The role:

As a Teaching Assistant, the role will be quite diverse and will involve a variety of different tasks. You will work 1:1 and within small groups assisting the implementation of lesson plans. You must be comfortable to provide a variety of personal care as some of the student has physical disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a proactive and motivated personality as you will be working in a challenging environment. Ideal candidate:

  • Teaching Assistant experience desirable
  • Experience with EYFS to Key Stage 4
  • Experience with ASC & SLD
  • Personal care
  • Available Monday to Friday 08:30 till 15:30
