Are you currently working as an SEN teaching assistant in a mainstream school?

The Role:

This mainstream school are looking for an SEN teaching assistant to join their team, they are ideally looking for an SEN teaching assistant that has worked with children with ASC and ADHD. As an SEN teaching assistant, you must have fantastic behaviour management and interpersonal skills as well as a very enthusiastic and positive manner. Experience with Makaton, PECS and BSL is also preferred for this role due to the nature of the students you will be working with.

The School:

Found in the London Borough of Lambeth, the school is a larger than average 3 form entry school in the heart of Streatham.

The school cater for students between the ages of 3 -11 years old.

The proportion of pupils identified with special educational needs is 25% of the whole school population and represent a range of needs.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
