SEN Teaching Assistant – Stockton-On-Tees

Teaching Personnel are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a Primary School based in Stockton-On-Tees. This is an opportunity to join a thriving class where there is a requirement for a Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a SEN student who can display complex behaviours. The School were rated ‘Good’ in their most recent Ofsted report and pride themselves in their engaging environment. The role requires:

• Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• A resilient, patient and committed attitude
• Experience working with children who have mild to moderate learning difficulties
• Ability to travel to the school for a 8:30am start and 15:45pm finish

Essentials:

• Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
• Eligible to work in the UK (right to work in the UK documentation)
• Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Qualification or equivalent
