SEN Teaching Assistant

The position is for a minimum variable hours of 15 hours per week. However, the position will initially require 32.5 hours per week, subject to review.
The school is a special school for pupils aged 4 to 16 years with a wide range of learning and complex needs. There are currently 101 pupils on roll.
The hours of work will be 8.30am to 3.30pm.
All staff in school are expected to be flexible, in order to be able to meet the needs of all pupils. The school are therefore looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and committed Teaching Assistant, who preferably has experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs. It would also be advantageous if the candidate also had experience of report writing and excellent computer skills as they are looking for someone who can also assist with the submission of bids and funding for the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
