SEN Teaching Assistant SEN Teaching Assistant for immediate start Outstanding SE London Primary School Supporting Primary pupil 1:1 with Autism London Borough of SouthwarkAn 'Outstanding' Primary school in Dulwich, SE London is looking for a skilled and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 with an EYFS pupil with Autism. The School: This high achieving school strives to ensure that all children are secure, happy and enjoy learning. This is a 2 form entry excellent primary school based in a fantastic central West London primary school. The children, parents and staff together create a rich and diverse community. The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant at this School, you will be required to be adaptable, working with a lovely EYFS pupil with ASD. Supporting the class Teacher, you will help deliver learning activities, encouraging students with their academic progress and also managing behaviour in class. You must be able to deal with students on a 1-1 level and use different techniques for challenging behaviour as and when required. The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will be experienced in supporting students with Autism and be familiar with PECs and/or Makaton.
