SEN TA - Derbyshire
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated individual, to become an SEN Teaching Assistant from September!
Teaching Personnel are assisting a client secondary school in Derbyshire with their recruitment need of an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time temporary basis (September to December initially)
Key Aspects of the SEN Teaching Assistant role:
- SEN Teaching Assistant - starting September 2019
- Full-time temporary role - likely to be extended after December
- Earn up to £1400 a month - paid weekly
- Work in a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Derbyshire
- Supporting pupils aged 11-16 with Special Education Needs (e.g. mild Autism, Dyslexia, Emotional and Behaviour needs)
- Working in small groups and on 1:1 to ensure they are well engaged and have the best chance of reaching their full potential
The ideal candidate for the role of SEN Teaching will:
- Have previous experience working with young people (SEN is desirable but not essential)
- Be passion about helping disadvantaged young people achieve
- Be educated to degree level
- Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
