SEN Teaching Assistant 

 

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a fantastic SEN school based in Great Yarmouth. The school are looking to appoint a highly motived and experienced SEN TA until the end of the summer term. You would be working with various classes within the school, ranging from KS2-KS4 so must be comfortable working with pupils of varying ages. This position would start in May and has the potential to turn into a full time role.

Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant Role:

· Safeguarding the young people in your care

· Supervising children in a classroom setting

· Assisting children with school work

· Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn

Person Specification:

  • · Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • · Previous experience working in a school setting with children with autism (desirable)
  • · Applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure which Keys Group will cover the cost of.
  • · Full UK drivers' license and access to own transport (desirable)
  • Uk address and right to work
  • DBS on the update service- or willing to apply for one through teaching personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
