Do you have recent experience of working in educational settings?

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching Assistant who can immerse themselves within a SEN unit; this is at one of our outstanding schools in Bedminster. The school are looking for an experienced individual who has worked in a special educational setting before.

About the role

Full time- ASAP start

Rate of pay- GBP60-GBP65 per day!

Bedminster, Bristol.

A successful candidate will need to be confidant, passionate and driven to provide the guidance and support the pupil may need. Also at least 1 year of experience with children with special educational needs, this may include pupils’ with Autism, Asperger’s, social emotional & mental health or behavioural issues.

The role will entail you to support the pupil throughout the day, working alongside them to ensure they feel comfortable and work to their best ability.

The school have a rating of outstanding from OFSTED, really valuing their SEN unit which enables the pupils they work with to achieve the best outcome possible from there time at the school. Candidates must have qualifications in GCSE Maths and English grade C or above equivalent. Also the following qualifications will strengthen your application…

. Classroom management

The role is set to start as soon as possible if successful. If you have a child work force DBS and it is on the update service, we can process your documents right away. However, if this is not the case then we can support you through the process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
