SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

Do you have experience of supporting pupils ASC and comorbid conditions such as ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and mental health needs?

Are you confident in working with children who can demonstrate challenging behaviours?

Have you ever had experience with MAPA or Team Teach?

Are you able to carry out personal care for SEN children with autism?                                                                                

Teaching Personnel are working with a school based in Rugby, Warwickshire that are seeking a large intake of support staff, including Autism and Behavioural Teaching Assistants. You will be working with students aged 7-18 assisting them with their educational needs. The school has modern facilities and the most up-to-date resources.

• A Qualified Teaching Assistant with experience of young people with ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties

• Experienced working with primary and secondary aged pupils with EBD needs

• Emotionally resilient

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
