SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for several SEN focused Teaching Assistants to work in 2 schools located in Doncaster. The roles will support learners in both KS1 and KS2 on a one-to-one basis aiding children with additional needs.

The current requires are:

1 x one-to-one support for a Autistic child in KS2

1 x one-to-one support for a Autistic child in KS1

1 x one-to-one support for a child in Ks2 with ADHD

1 x one-to-one support for a EYFS child with Down Syndrome

We are ideally looking for individuals who have experience supporting children of a primary age who have additional needs and understand the differences that are faced from supporting a child on a one-to-one basis.

Due to the nature of the roles there may be a requirement to support certain individuals during lunch and break times as well as making sure the child enters and leaves school safely and therefore you may expect to start at 8:15am and finish around 3:45pm.

Your time will be spent both in and out of the classroom with the child within your care delivered a specific learning programmed tailored to the individual’s needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
