SEN Teaching Assistant job in Peckham secondary SEN School

Teaching Personnel has a big demand for experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants in the South East London area, particularly for a secondary SLD school close to Peckham who are currently recruiting for staff. If you are looking for supply work on a part-time or full time basis please get in touch and we will find the work that suits you.

The ideal candidate must have good knowledge/experience working with secondary aged students with Special Educational Needs, including severe, complex, medical needs and Autism.

In order to be considered for work with Teaching Personnel you must have:

+ experience of supporting children with SEN

+ Knowledge of PECs or Makaton or BSL

+ a recent CV with a 6 Year career history

+ the right to work in the UK

+ a current DBS certificate, or be willing to have one processed

+ referees from your most recent workplaces (going back 6 years)

+ daily availability to work in Peckham from 9am - 4pm
