Job description

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a range of special educational needs schools and specialist provisions in Woking.

This is a fantastic opportunity for caring, committed individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with autism, learning difficulties, SEMH and complex needs. Roles are available on a full-time and part-time, term-time basis.

The role:

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom and on a 1:1 or small-group basis

  • Assisting with learning, communication and behaviour support

  • Working closely with teachers and specialist staff to meet individual needs

The ideal candidate:

  • Patient, empathetic and reliable

  • Experience in SEN or care settings is desirable but not essential

  • A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
