We are seeking dedicated, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a friendly and supportive special educational needs setting in Surrey.
This all-through school caters for pupils aged 3–19 years with severe learning difficulties, many of whom have additional sensory, physical or communication needs. You’ll be part of an inclusive and collaborative team providing personalised support to help pupils engage, learn and thrive.
Key Responsibilities

Support pupils’ access to the curriculum through tailored in-class assistance and one-to-one support.

Help implement personalised learning plans and strategies that reflect pupils’ unique needs.

Assist with communication, behaviour management and sensory activities.

Promote independence, social skills and confidence in all pupils.

Work collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists and families to support pupil progress.
About You
We’re looking for TAs who:
✔ Are patient, adaptable and genuinely motivated to support pupils with SEN
✔ Have experience (or a desire to train) in working with pupils with severe learning difficulties
✔ Can communicate effectively with pupils and adults
✔ Are team players who bring positive energy and professionalism
Previous experience in a special school, SEND setting, or relevant training is desirable but not essential — we welcome candidates with the right attitude and commitment to learn.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
