Sen Teaching Assistant

Salary: £92 - £110 per day(Based on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time - Term-time
Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in Wirral.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, including those with challenging behaviours.
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere for all learners.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with SEN students in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
- Confident in handling challenging situations.
- Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
