Vacancy: Learning Support Assistant, Full Time (Term Time Only)
Location: Winchester
Start Date: September
Pay: £14.25 per hour

A specialist primary school in Winchester is seeking a full-time, permanent Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September. The school supports pupils aged 4 to 11 with Moderate Learning Difficulties and associated needs in a structured, nurturing environment.

 

The Role

• Support pupils in class and in small groups
• Promote engagement, independence, and social skills
• Assist with behaviour and emotional regulation
• Work closely with teaching and support staff

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs

 

What’s on Offer

• Full-time, permanent role starting in September
• Term time only
• Ongoing SEND training, including PRICE
• Supportive specialist setting

 

An Enhanced DBS check is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
