Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Specialist SEN School (Primary & Secondary)

Location: Farnborough
Start Date: September
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £14.25 per hour

 

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school supporting pupils aged 4 to 16 with a range of additional needs. You will work in a structured, supportive environment with small class sizes and a strong staff team.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1 to 1 and in small groups
• Assist with tailored learning activities
• Promote communication, social skills, and independence
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Help maintain a calm and engaging learning environment

 

Pupil Needs

You will support children with needs including:
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Learning difficulties
• Speech, language, and communication needs
• Sensory and SEMH needs

 

What We’re Looking For

• Patient, calm, and adaptable approach
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
• Full-time availability from September

Experience in SEN, education, or care is helpful but not essential.
