SEN Teaching Assistant – Support Learners Across All Ages
Weymouth | Part-Time | September 2025 Start
Are you a compassionate and dedicated teaching assistant eager to support children and young people with special educational needs?
We have a rewarding part-time opportunity at a welcoming specialist school in Weymouth, supporting pupils aged 2 to 18. This role starts in September 2025, with the option to begin earlier if preferred. Working hours are 8.50am to 3.35pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

Your Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils’ learning and personal development.
Your role will involve delivering tailored learning activities, aiding communication, supporting mobility and sensory needs, and fostering independence in a safe and positive environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
