SEN Teaching Assistant – Weymouth Area

Are you a compassionate and motivated individual with a passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needs?
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded specialist school in the Weymouth area. This role offers flexibility, with a full-time start available in September 2025 and the option to begin earlier in a part-time or full-time capacity depending on your availability.

This outstanding setting provides education for pupils aged 2 to 18 with a wide range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Your Role Will Include:

Supporting pupils across both primary and secondary age groups

Assisting with personalised learning activities and communication strategies
-
Promoting emotional regulation and independence

Supporting pupils with physical or personal care needs where required

Contributing to a safe, respectful and positive classroom environment

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday

8.50am to 3.35pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
