Role: Special Educational Needs (SEN) one-to-one support

Start date: 5th September 22

Pay rate: £350 - £375 weekly

Hours: Part-time (9:00 to 13:00)

Location: Sunderland

One of Teaching Personnel’s partnership schools are looking for a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil on a one-to-one basis (mornings only). You will be working with pupils with SEN although experience of SEN is not essential it would be desirable.

The role:

  • Working hours are between 9am till 1pm Monday to Friday
  • Working one-to-one with a pupil with autism
  • Co-working with a Learning Support Assistant and Class Teacher 
  • Feeding back on pupil behaviour and learning (including working with Healthcare professionals)

  • Situated in Sunderland with close links to the A19
  • Ofsted rated good

Role requirements:

  • A DBS on the update service or willing to apply with assistance from Teaching Personnel
  • DBS supporting documentation
  • Up to date references upon request

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
