SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for One to One Teaching Assistants and Learning Mentors to work with an Alternative Provision based in and around the Kent area with the role starting as soon possible.

We are currently working with schools around the Medway, Tonbridge, Ashford and Thanet areas that support students with a variety of Special Education Needs, such as Autism, Moderate/Severe Learning Difficulties, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties and Behavioural Needs. You will be required to support students, not only academically, but also emotionally.

At present, we are considering candidates who are looking for full time roles, either on  short term or longer term contract, as well as candidates who are looking for day to day supply work; however we will consider part time candidates too. 

The Candidate

Due to the needs of the students, the schools are looking for Teaching Assistants who have experience working with young people, especially those of supporting young people with Challenging Behaviour and Complex Needs. Team Teach training is not essential, but preferable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
