Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary school to support pupils in Early years. This role will be based in the Tameside area, and will be a part-time role. The role is due to start ASAP.

This role will be supporting primary school aged children with complex needs and learning difficulties, on a 1-1 basis and in a group setting.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Work one on one with pupils of various ages in different subjects and activities
  • Support children in developing skills and knowledge allowing them to thrive not only in school but in the wider world

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:

  • Personal or professional experience with children with complex needs
  • An ability to provide a stimulating and purposeful environment
  • Great communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
