SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a teaching assistant for children aged 7-14. This role will be based in the Tameside area, supporting pupils with complex needs that may impact their behaviour in school.

Role responsibilities include:

• Support children in the classroom to help them overcome any barriers they may have with their learning
• Work one-on-one and in small groups with pupils across key stage 2 and 3

The ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:

• Personal or professional experience with children with complex behavioural needs
• Calm and professional characteristics

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
