SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
A highly reputable and award-winning group of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their expanding team in Surrey. With a strong focus on excellence in education, care, and outcomes for children with a wide range of SEN needs, this school group is renowned for its inclusive ethos, outstanding support for staff, and positive learning environments.
Working as part of a collaborative and nurturing team, successful candidates will support pupils aged between 5 and 19 with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning challenges.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs is highly desirable
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learning and development
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Flexibility, resilience, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
