We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Stretford that is committed to supporting every child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the Year 5 team and provide tailored support for pupils with additional needs.

Your Role

As a Year 5 SEN TA, you will:

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with special educational needs
• Assist the class teacher in delivering an inclusive and engaging curriculum
• Help implement EHCP targets under the guidance of the SENCO
• Promote pupils’ emotional wellbeing, resilience, and independence
• Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet individual needs

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Has experience supporting children with SEN in a primary setting, ideally in Key Stage 2
• Is patient, empathetic, and proactive with a flexible approach
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative team and builds positive relationships
• Is passionate about helping every child reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
