SEN Teaching Assistant – Stone & Staffordshire – September Start

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support – Stone, Staffordshire
Location: Stone, Staffordshire & surrounding areas (Stafford, Rugeley, Stoke)
Start Date: September

SEN Teaching Assistants urgently needed in Stone and the wider Staffordshire area to work in specialist schools supporting children and young people with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex learning needs.

Teaching Personnel are seeking SEN TAs and Support Workers for September starts in local schools and alternative provisions. Whether you have experience from education, youth work, or care, your skills can make a life-changing difference.

Key duties:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN/SEMH

  • Assist with emotional regulation and sensory needs

  • Create safe, engaging learning environments

  • Work from EHCPs and personalised learning plans

  • Support with personal care if required (training provided)

You will need:

  • Experience in SEN, care, behaviour support, or a relevant qualification

  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude

  • A DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
