SEN Teaching Assistant – September Start – Speke

Temporary (with potential for permanent)

Start Date: September 2025

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Location: Speke, L24

Pay: £89.38 - £95.00 Per Day (Based on experience)

A primary school nationally graded as an “IQM Centre of Excellence” is seeking a dedicated SEN specialist to start in the new academic year. This is the perfect role in a supportive environment for someone with a passion for working with those with special needs.

This is a full-time role with the potential to get your foot in the door for longer term employment with a well-regarded and modernised Primary School. A background in education is not essential, experience in environments such as foster care, youth work or support work could be ideal.

What we’re looking for:

  • Work in 1:1 and small groups when required
  • Passion for supporting the development of young pupils with disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work with a variety of ages and disabilities throughout the primary school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
