Teaching Assistant – Specialist SEN School (Partnered with Teaching Personnel)
Location: Royston, Cambridgeshire
Full-Time | Term Time Only | Long-Term Role
£100-£120 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in Meldreth, Cambridgeshire, that provides tailored education and care for young people aged 6–19 with a range of learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and complex needs. We are seeking committed Teaching Assistants to join the team and make a lasting impact.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students with their learning, communication, and personal development

• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff

• Help deliver EHCP targets and individualised programmes

• Provide personal care, mobility assistance, and sensory support when required

• Encourage independence and build strong relationships with students

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (desirable but not essential)

• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• The willingness to undertake personal care duties

• A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
